These apple cinnamon blondies are soft, spiced, and topped with creamy maple cream cheese frosting—perfect for fall gatherings and cozy treats.
Ingredients
**Blondies:**
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp salt
1 cup finely diced apples (peeled)
**Maple Cream Cheese Frosting:**
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
¼ cup unsalted butter (softened)
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 or 9×9 baking pan with parchment. 2. Whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla. 3. In another bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. 4. Mix dry ingredients into wet, then fold in diced apples. 5. Spread batter into pan and smooth the top. 6. Bake 28–32 minutes until set. Cool completely. 7. For frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. 8. Add maple syrup and powdered sugar. Beat until fluffy. 9. Spread frosting over cooled blondies. Chill briefly before slicing.
Notes
You can use Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples.
Add chopped pecans or white chocolate chips for variety.
Store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
