This Buffalo Chicken Pasta Bake combines tender pasta with spicy buffalo chicken, enveloped in a creamy, cheesy sauce. It’s a comforting dish perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Pasta and Chicken

    • 12 oz penne pasta
    • 3 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • Sauce

    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • ½ cup buffalo sauce
    • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • Cheese

    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheeseknorr
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Toppings

    • ¼ cup chopped green onions
    • Optional: blue cheese crumbles

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Prepare the Sauce
In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing until smooth.

  • Combine Ingredients
Add shredded chicken and cooked pasta to the sauce. Mix until evenly coated.

  • Assemble the Bake
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheeses on top.

  • Bake
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  • Garnish and Serve
Remove from oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and blue cheese crumbles if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Protein Alternatives: Substitute chicken with turkey or tofu for a different twist.

  • Pasta Choices: Rotini or rigatoni can be used instead of penne.

  • Cheese Variations: Monterey Jack or pepper jack can replace cheddar for added flavor.

  • Vegetable Additions: Incorporate diced bell peppers, spinach, or broccoli for extra nutrients.

  • Heat Adjustment: For a milder dish, reduce the amount of buffalo sauce.
