Description

A hearty casserole combining ground beef, hashbrowns, and cheese, perfect for family dinners and leftovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups frozen hashbrowns
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder or other seasonings

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, milk, hashbrowns, salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  5. Top the casserole with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
