- 8 oz penne or rotini pasta
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil or butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the pasta and broth to the pot. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer.
- Stir in the broccoli halfway through the pasta cooking time.
- Once the pasta is tender, mix in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm and enjoy your meal!
Notes
Sprinkle extra grated Parmesan on top and add black pepper for extra flavor. Can add cooked chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
