- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (optional, like rosemary or thyme)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sourdough discard, flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt. Mix until combined.
- Add in the shredded cheese and olive oil, and stir until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut into desired shapes (sticks or squares) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Optionally, sprinkle fresh herbs on top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or any favorite dip. Can be stored in an airtight container for a couple of days or frozen for longer storage.
