Description

Juicy and flavorful pork chops baked to perfection with a simple spice rub.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme to make the spice rub.
  3. Rub the pork chops with olive oil and then coat them with the spice mixture on both sides.
  4. Place the pork chops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Let the pork chops rest after baking to keep them juicy. You can add cayenne pepper for a kick or use bone-in pork chops for extra flavor.
