Description

A quick and nutritious pasta dish featuring broccoli, garlic, and Parmesan cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta of choice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In the last 3-4 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot.
  3. Drain the pasta and broccoli, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet, along with the reserved pasta water, and stir to combine.
  6. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese, seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy your healthy meal!
