- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
- Add egg noodles to the boiling broth, reduce heat, and simmer until noodles are cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
- Once noodles are cooked, return chicken to the skillet. Add remaining butter and stir until melted and combined.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For extra creaminess, stir in a bit of cream or cheese into the noodles before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
