Description

A delicious and simple one-pan meal that combines tender chicken and flavorful noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  2. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
  3. Add egg noodles to the boiling broth, reduce heat, and simmer until noodles are cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Once noodles are cooked, return chicken to the skillet. Add remaining butter and stir until melted and combined.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For extra creaminess, stir in a bit of cream or cheese into the noodles before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
