- 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar (for filling)
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
- 1/4 cup colored sugar (for decoration)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix gluten-free flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- In a separate bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
- Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, then let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, and add raisins if using.
- Roll the dough tightly and shape it into a circle.
- Place on a greased baking sheet, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool and decorate with colored sugar before serving.
Notes
Wrap and store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. Freeze slices for longer storage.
