- 1 1/2 cups white sugar

- Green food coloring
- Red sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
- In a large bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients, adding green food coloring while mixing until you reach your desired color.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Add a single red sprinkle to each cookie to represent the Grinch’s heart.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven or until they are golden.
- Let cool on wire racks.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe container with parchment paper in between cookies.
