Description

Fun and festive Grinch Drop Sugar Cookies that are easy to make and perfect for the holiday season.


Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Green food coloring
  • Red sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients, adding green food coloring while mixing until you reach your desired color.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Add a single red sprinkle to each cookie to represent the Grinch’s heart.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven or until they are golden.
  9. Let cool on wire racks.
