Ingredients
1 can refried beans
1 cup guacamole
1 cup sour cream
1 cup salsa
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup shredded lettuce
½ cup black olives, sliced
1 bag tortilla chips (cut into tombstone shapes if desired)
1 teaspoon taco seasoning
Optional: cherry tomatoes, green onions for garnish
Instructions
1. Spread refried beans evenly in the bottom of a serving dish.
2. Layer guacamole on top of the beans.
3. Spread sour cream mixed with taco seasoning over the guacamole.
4. Add salsa, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
5. Garnish with shredded lettuce, olives, tomatoes, and green onions.
6. Crush a few tortilla chips and scatter on top for the ‘dirt’ effect.
7. Place whole chips or cut ‘tombstone’ shapes upright into the dip.
8. Serve immediately with extra tortilla chips for dipping.
Notes
Make-ahead tip: Prep the dip up to 6 hours in advance, cover with plastic wrap, and chill until serving.
For extra Halloween flair, use a food-safe marker to write ‘RIP’ on the chips.
Swap sour cream for Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
Serve in a shallow baking dish or clear trifle bowl for layered effect.
