Description

A comforting dish that blends the flavors of a juicy cheeseburger with creamy pasta, loaded with ground beef, crispy bacon, and gooey cheese.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces short pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow macaroni)
  • 1 pound ground beef (can substitute with ground turkey or chicken)
  • 6 slices bacon (cooked and crispy)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the short pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it is browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to the beef. Mix well.
  4. Reduce the heat to low. Add the cream cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Then mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until it is fully melted and combined.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix until everything is well combined.
  6. Chop the crispy bacon and mix it into the pasta dish, saving a little for topping if you like.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with the remaining bacon if desired.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add crushed red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños. Use different kinds of cheese for variety, such as mozzarella or pepper jack.
