Description

This easy Nectarine Cinnamon-Sugar Cobbler is packed with fresh nectarines, simple ingredients, and topped with a sweet cinnamon-sugar crust.


Ingredients

5 nectarines, sliced

1 cup self-rising flour

1 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup salted butter

2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Place butter pieces in baking dish and melt in oven.

3. Slice nectarines and discard pits.

4. Mix flour, sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

5. Pour batter over melted butter. Do not stir.

6. Arrange sliced nectarines over batter.

7. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.

8. Bake for 40 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Frozen or canned nectarines can be used.

No need to peel nectarines.
