- 2 bone-in pork chops
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and thyme.
- Rub the spice mixture onto both sides of the pork chops.
- Add olive oil to the hot skillet, then add the pork chops.
- Sear the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Make sure the skillet is hot before adding the pork chops for a nice sear. Let the pork chops rest after cooking to keep them juicy. Adjust spices to personal taste.
