Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the browned butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices (cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and cloves).
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. While the cookies cool, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies and allow it to set before serving.
  10. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
