Description

Nutritious and delicious energy balls packed with chocolate and peanut butter, perfect for a quick snack or post-workout treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup gluten-free oats
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together peanut butter and honey until well combined.
  2. Stir in the gluten-free oats, cocoa powder, dark chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and salt until all ingredients are evenly mixed.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the energy balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

These energy balls can also be frozen for up to three months. Let them thaw in the fridge before enjoying.
