- 60g melted butter
- 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 15ml extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 220°C / 428°F.
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Melt the butter in a small bowl and stir in the minced garlic and chopped thyme.
- Heat a skillet and add the olive oil.
- Sear the pork chops for 2 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
- Pour the melted butter mixture into the skillet and baste the pork chops.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 14 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Let the chops rest for 5 minutes, spoon the buttery sauce over them, and enjoy!
