Description

Quick and easy oven baked pork chops that are juicy, flavorful, and require minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the seasoning mix over both sides of the pork chops.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Transfer the chops to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the pork chops in the seasoning mix for a few hours before cooking. Make sure not to overcook the pork chops; use a meat thermometer to ensure they reach 145°F (63°C). Let the chops rest after cooking to keep them juicy.
