Description

Delicious and nutritious Chai Spice Energy Balls, perfect for a quick snack or afternoon pick-me-up.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (such as almond or peanut butter)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips or dried fruit (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, and all the spices.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or dried fruit.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place the energy balls on a baking sheet or plate lined with parchment paper.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

For added sweetness, adjust the honey or maple syrup to taste. Experiment with different nut butters for unique flavors.
